Privacy policy
Last updated 14 September 2026
This policy explains what information Affluxi Ltd collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. Affluxi Ltd is registered in England and Wales, company number 15409343, at 89 High Street, Broseley, Shropshire TF12 5ET. For anything about your information, email enquiries@affluxi.co.uk.
Browsing this website
You can look around affluxi.co.uk without giving us anything. There are no accounts and no forms. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not identify you. It tells us things like which pages are popular, not who you are.
Cookies
Browsing this site does not need cookies. If we use optional analytics or advertising cookies, such as Google Analytics or the Meta pixel, they only switch on after you choose Accept in our cookie message. Choose Reject and they stay off. We keep your choice in your browser so we do not ask every time, and you can change it whenever you like with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.
Bookings happen on our booking system at book.affluxi.co.uk, which is run for us by eviivo and sets its own cookies. It asks for your consent separately, and its choices are managed on that site.
Maps and ratings
The map on each property page is a picture stored on our own site, so viewing it sends nothing to a map company. If you choose Open in Google Maps you go to Google, and Google's privacy policy applies there. Guest ratings are summary scores from our booking system and do not show anyone's personal details.
When you contact us
If you email or phone us, we use what you tell us, usually your name, contact details and the stay you are asking about, to answer you and arrange your booking. We keep it for as long as we need it for that and for our normal business records. We never sell it.
When you book
Bookings and payments are handled through eviivo. Once you follow a Check availability link you are on the booking site, and its privacy and cookie policy applies to what happens there. We receive the booking details we need to prepare the home, look after you during your stay, and keep the accounting records the law requires.
Why we are allowed to use it
- To take a booking you have asked for and deliver your stay.
- Because we have a legitimate interest in answering enquiries and running our business well.
- To meet legal obligations, such as tax and accounting records.
- With your consent, for optional cookies. You can withdraw it at any time.
Who else sees it
Only companies that help us run the business, and only as much as they need: our booking system (eviivo), our email provider (Google) and our website host (Cloudflare). Some of them may handle information outside the UK, in which case they use the safeguards UK data protection law requires.
How long we keep it
Only as long as we need it. Booking and payment records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require, which is usually six years.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent. Email us and we will reply within a month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update this page and the date at the top.
